Reaching Our Changing World for Christ

Transportation Ministry

This "out of house" ministry began on September 30, 1986 to the entire Clemmons community.  It began with Baptist Women, along with other volunteers from the church.

The purpose of this ministry is to provide transportation for older adults to medical appointments, grocery store, hair dresser or barber.  Other requests are considered on an individual basis.  There is no charge.

We are listed in the Directory of Community Resources for Forsyth County as Clemmons Transportation Ministry with the name, address and telephone number of the church.  When someone calls the church the secretary then calls the person in charge.  The one needing a ride will be called as soon as possible and arrangements made for the transportation.

This is a ministry to several members of our church, but a wonderful outreach to many older adults  moving to Clemmons to be close to their children.  Jesus said, "As you go..." could He mean for us today to go in our cars to this part of our community and show His love?
