Homebound Department

The Homebound Department is an outreach of the Sunday School Division to minister to our members who for whatever reason are unable to participate in the regular Sunday School program and /or other major programs of the church. This includes people who are confined to home, nursing homes, and assisted living centers.

Members of the Homebound Committee have one or more of these persons assigned to them to visit, to take Sunday School and other church publications to, and to make frequent phone calls and visits to in order to help them feel they are still a part of the larger church family.

Membership in the homebound group does not hinder the person from rejoining regular classes if and when their health situations change to allow them to once again become part of a regular class or organization of the church.
