Our Preschool Program

We offer - Classes for children ages 1 year-5 years in a Christian environment where they can learn and grow.
Hours - 9:00am-12:00 noon
Lunch Bunch - Monday and Wednesday 12:00-1:00pm
Days of Operation - MWF and MTWF (Pre-K)
Months of Operation - Sept-May

Preschool Curriculum - A child's day at preschool typically includes center time, art, music, learning activities, playground/gym, snack, circle time and specials.

Handwriting Without Tears - 4's and 5's use this curriculum to teach the alphabet and writing letters.

Music - Twice per month the children attend a special music class where they are introduced to rhythm, instruments, singing and following directions.

Library - Our goals are to teach the love of books and reading, early literacy skills, and respect for books.

Chapel - Twice per month the children attend chapel in the church sanctuary where they are told Bible stories by our children's minister and sing Christian preschool songs with our minister of music.

Fall Harvest and Spring Fling - The entire preschool participates in special outdoor activities planned to celebrate these two seasons.

Field Trips - The 3's, 4's and 5's may take several walking trips to nearby locations.  In addition, the 4's and 5's take educational field trips off campus.

Thanksgiving Feasts - All classrooms celebrate the season of Thanksgiving with a feast which includes their families.

Christmas Programs - All preschool children sing in our Christmas program.  The 4's and 5's also have parts in the nativity.

Graduation - The 4's and 5's participate in a special graduation program at the end of the preschool year.
